the unfolding rose is an ever expanding album mostly made up of improvised one take songs recorded and mix & mastered by aloisius.

if u buy for 50p {or more} it will continue to grow {update} in your collection {this has been tried & tested}. the album will continue to unfold until the end of aloisiyai's life, at which point the album will be complete and will be officially renamed 'the unfolded rose'

it is a collection of moments, mostly collaborative recordings with others

some of the songs are heavily created by the others in the improvisations

{such as many of the songs with jaso on the project, jaso was playing beautiful chords, and aloisius just accompanied, recorded and facilitated the creation}

{this is also the case with 7june1 & biding time on airplanes with bianca scout playing the chords on both these}

on ‘the evening that started it all’ jkarri must be credited very heavily as he was playing most the chords that Kendra sang on, aloisius recorded, accompanied in parts, resampled and processed these recordings but jkarri musically wrote the vast majority of the instrumentation on that project - this project is very important to the unfolding rose because recording those voice notes ignited the idea to make a voice note album.

another important mention in regards to this are the ‘dreamer’ and ‘father & son’ cover’s where aloisiyai’s father was playing most of the songs, aloisius just accompanied, recorded and processed the recording.
